  • Turn the tube right side out. (Opening the zipper and turning through the zipper opening may be the easiest depending on the thickness of your fabric.)
  • Place the tube flat with the zipper at the top.
  • Measure 3" down on each edge and mark.
  • Cut one piece of strap 7" long.
  • Place one part of the buckle on the 7" piece of strap, bringing the ends of the strapping back to meet each other.
  • Place the "right side" of the buckle on the right side of the fabric and baste to ONE layer of the tube.
  • Repeat for the remaining strap by basting one end of the strap 3" down from the zipper, to ONE layer of the tube.
  • Roll up the extra strap and bind with a rubber band as shown in the photo to prevent the strap from getting sewn in where you don't want it.
