What type of sewing you did/do with this machine?
I do lots of garment sewing with embroidery embellishments on the 200/730 I also do accessories and home dec items on this machine. The 910 is mostly used for sewing the same things. The serger is used for knits and finishing.
What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
I am satisfied with all of my bernina's. I haven't had any major problems, because they are serviced annually. The 910, being mostly a mechanical machine, doesn't require servicing as often, just keep it clean and oiled and it purrs like a kitten.
Lessons Learned
- Windows operating system on the 200/730 is slower than the bernina operating system on other new computerized machines and is slower to start up. but you can do lots of editing on the sewing machine that can't be done on the others.
- Bernina has the best feet on the market both for the older machines and the new ones. There's a foot for any thing that you may need to do on a sewing machine.
