What type of sewing you did/do with this machine?
While I didn't use my Berninas daily, I did use them regularly. I have done fashion sewing, home decor, embroidery, and lots of quilting. I sewed for my family, made purses, gifts, and have even done a little boat canvas repair. With just a year in to my new 830 I have only begun to learn all it can do. The machine is beyond amazing. The newest things I am learning are quilting in the embroidery hoop and embroidery applique.
What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
I have been completely satisfied with every Bernina I have owned. Berninas at any price point are excellent machines and the best value for your money. They exceed expectations. Customer service from the dealer network has also exceeded expectations.
Lessons Learned
- I came to Bernina after complete and total frustration with a Singer machine. I have been a customer for 37 years, across three states. The machines themselves and the dealer network are very satisfactory. Bernina education is also excellent--whether the dealer classes or berninausa.com No matter what your budget, you can find a new or used Bernina to suit your situation. They are the best value over time and last and last.
