very positive--I like this machine very much as I have really got into quilting because of it.
I have recommended others to check out a Bernina line of machines. My son just loves using it--started sewing at 9 years old and has made 3 quilts and numerous pillow cases as gifts.
Nothing sews like a Bernina! There trademark line and I believe it.
Lessons Learned
- The only thing I would do is update to have a machine with BSR as this had just came out when I got my machine and I didn't know how much quilting I would be doing, but definitely another Bernina.
- I appreciate that they give classes with the machine and you can always go back and take the classes at any time from the shop I purchased my machine.
- My son also does quilting so he attended the classes with me--they have encouraged him in his sewing.
