I make fleece jackets,tops,cosmetics bags,sewing machine/serger covers,scissor holders and anything else that I want to make!

I'm very satisfied with it.
It has everything I need to feel comfortable with as a beginner sewer.
I looked at different machine and decided on this one. So glad I did!
It's not intimidating at all.
I had sewn in junior high school in Home Economics and the machines were Vikings that we used. The machine did one stitch,was capable of going forward,reverse and that was about it! A very basic machine at that time. Perfect for school kids learning to sew.
This Brother machine is just right for the beginner or someone who is rusty at sewing and just needs a refresher to get back into it.
Advice
- It has embroidery stitches set into the machine already, but if you want to do advanced embroidery; you need a different Brother machine.
- I would buy this machine again. It is easy to operate,easy to do a buttonhole, comes with numerous feet and is a joy to work with! The owner's manual is easy to follow.
- It's also lightweight! A plus for those that have to take it with you!
