My wife uses it for Sewing , embroidery on childrens cloths, bedsheets/ bed spreads.

What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
Very sturdy machines.
I use them in India where the voltage is 220V with a voltage converter.
I bought the second machine after the first one gave a "safety devices activated " error after a severe thread jam.
No service available in India, but a little common sense and I fixed the machine. A gear had got loose.
My wife timed the needle down position and the bobbin case hook and i simply tightened the grub screw on the gear with an allen key.
Still worked well but sold it after I got the newer SE400 with more features.
Advice
- keep machine clean of lint.
- sparingly oil metal parts only
- don't be afraid to check out issues that may arise
- refer manual for fixes to most common issues
