I do alterations and I sew for recreation and family.
What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
I am extremely satisfied with this Brother. It does all the functions I need for my sewing. I have been doing alterations for 40 years and this machine is the absolute best. It's very easy to operate and does everything but make lunch!
I also teach sewing and I always recommend the Brother machine to them. It's light weight and very easy to learn on.
Advice
- It's not just about saving money. The machine has to perform.
- Don't buy a brand that your mother had or you may be disappointed. They don't make them the same as your mother's.
- Practice quite a bit before you start a garment. Sewing is an art and you can't just run off a product.
- Have patience with yourself!
