Getting The Kitchen Spiffy

Tuesday May 13, 2008
The kitchen is the most used room in my house.... and the most ignored when it comes to spiffying it up. There really is no reason to not make up simple little projects that can make a huge difference. Cloth Napkins are the latest addition to my kitchen. They are a great way to go green and keep one ore thing out of the landfill!

Many years ago there was a pattern for kitchen articles which included mixer cover, bun cozy (which could be put in the microwave to heat rolls etc) an a bunch of other kitchen items. Don’t know if it is still around but I made lots of cozys and sold them and still have three or four usint holiday materials.

Oh, Debbie ~ I just LOVE your newsletters & look forward to each one! I print out every link to sewing I possibly can from each & have them all in 3-ring binders for future reference. I also scour the page for any other useful ideas & print or save those. As for the patterns, those are in a seperate binder & all the pages are in sheet protectors. I hope you know you have some devoted fans out here in computer-land. Keep the news coming & enjoy your week!

I’m just learning and I find the instructions really easy to read. I’m off the store for material for a mixer, and toaster cover. Thanks a whole lot for your help.
