I've wanted to get this pattern online for a while now but one thing or the other kept getting in the way... but now it's there... and in plenty of time to make them for school rather than buy a backpack that you'll be replacing in a couple of months. The new pattern features two good sized pockets on the front of the back pack for things you want to be able to access easily, two pockets on the sides of the back pack that are great for water bottles and padded fabric straps that make it comfortable to carry. Since you're the one making the back pack you get to choose the fabric colors and trim... no more searching the store!
