I made forty stockings for the troops, but I have neglected the need for Christmas stockings in my house. In my family, everyone brought their stocking with them... so many are pretty old and I'm afraid that washing them will destroy them. This year I am hoping to make special stockings for the entire household... all matching but all different by embroidering each persons name on the stocking. I should have done it a lot sooner but there is no time like the present.
