Nurses Costume Cap

Nurses caps are typically starched. Although many caps have colored strips on them, a nurse earns that strip upon graduation of their course.
This cap can be made with white poster board or with fabric.

For a fabric version of this cap:
  • Cut two out of white fabric.
  • Iron fusible web onto both pieces of fabric.
  • Optional: Iron a piece of white pleated trim to the top straight edge.
  • Iron both layers together, being careful to match all edges. Trim any uneven edges if necessary.
  • Bend front to flip upwards, in a semi-circular fashion. (refer semi circular marking on pattern and to the picture)
  • Use a button or hand tack the back pieces together at the red marks, keeping the center piece on the inside.
