Trims Start to Finish
Debbie Colgrove

Trims can look very different on the bolt than when you are finished.

I almost missed the fun whimsical beauty of this particular trim. (This trim is also available in a bright royal blue that is not shown here)
remove the clear holding thread A clear thread on the unbound edge is removed to create a fun fringe. Remove this thread after you have sewn the project.
Once the clear thread is removed, a fun and whimsical fringe is revealed.

For the fun touch that so many ready made items have, add this trim to pillows, pocketbooks and more
Avoid loss of trim by placing tape at the end and cutting in the middle of the tape to avoid lose.

Don't hesitate to ask the store clerk to tape the ends before cutting! You're saving yourself possible inches of lose and saving the store lose, which saves us all money in the long run!
