Using a large piece of paper (larger than 20" by 24") Fold the paper in half on the 24" length. Using the fold as a straight edge, mark a rectangle 9.75" by 22" as shown in the photo. Create the rounded corner as shown in the diagram. Since the paper is folded in half both corners will be matched and equally balanced. |

| Using folded paper make two rectangles, using the fold as one of the straight edges, 10 3/4" by 6" and one 10 3/4" by 8". On the top edge of the rectangle, extend the line by 2 1/2". Draw a line from the bottom corner of the rectangle to the end of the extended line to form the angled edge, as shown in the photo. |

| Trace the top of the main pattern piece (approximately 6" down from the top). Measure 1 1/2" from the top flat edge and make a line. Measure down 4" from that line and make a line. Slice the middle of the piece open and add 2" to the pattern. The area between the lines you created, is the pattern for the pocket. |
Note that all of the pockets are wider then the main pattern piece. This gives you the necessary give for the kids to fill the pockets
