Materials
  • 1 yard of durable material such as nylon, denim or canvas.
  • 18" Purse Zipper
  • 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 yards of 1" webbing (The shorter amount will give you enough for a hand hold. The longer the webbing strap, the more strap you will have for putting the bag on your shoulder etc. The webbing seen here is available at Trimsplus.comas of 9/9/09)
  • 1 package of Wright's Maxi Piping
  • Thread
  • Optional Embroidery
Cutting
  • Cut two 12.5" circles (Use a template such as the fast2cut Templates - Foolproof Circles, an Embroidery Hoop, or a kitchen plate or pan. The circles should measure 12 1/2" across the center of the circle.)
  • Cut one rectangle 19 1/2" by 35"
  • Gently melt the ends of the webbing with heat to stop the webbing from raveling.
