  • Sew piping to the 37" edges of the body of the bag. (More on sewing piping)
  • Placing right sides together, matching the center markings of the body of the bag and the sides of the bag.
  • Pin the body of the bag to the sides of the bag, clipping the body of the bag at the corner of the side of the bag.
  • Sew the body of the bag to the sides of the bag, using the piping stitching as a seam guide.
  • Apply a seam finish to enclose the raw edges.
  • Press the seams.
