Wedding Pillow with Attached Ring Box

This ring pillow eliminates the need to fuss with tying and un-tying ribbons during the ceremony. The pillow shown here was used at my daughters wedding.

  • Desired fabric (11" square for the pillow and additional strips if you are making roses to match
  • Sheer overlay fabric (equal to the amount of fabric)
  • 1 1/2 yards or more of gathered lace for the pillow edge (The amount will vary depending on how you want to decorate the pillow)
  • Thread
  • Fiber filling (I recommend a brand name to prevent lumping that often happens with "bargain" brands)
  • Ribbon for decorating
  • Fabric roses
  • Flocked ring box (you may also cover a small square jewelry box with matching fabric)
  • Hot glue
  • 7" of 1/2" to 1" wide ribbon
  • Optional: disappearing pen (Note: always test on a scrap of fabric)
