Sew a Clown Hat to Match Your Clown Costume

A clown costume is not complete without a hat! The possibilities are endless once you have the basic hat constructed.

• A circle template or large compass
• Newspaper or pattern material
• Fabric to compliment the rest of your clown costume
• Craft or sturdy fusible interfacing.
• Ruffle fabric -- for small fabric pompoms and an edge ruffle
• Thread
• 1/4" elastic
