Sew a Basket Liner for a Rectangle Basket

The basket shown throughout these directions was originally from a toiletry gift set. Once I made the liner I was not happy with the basket so I removed the handles and sewed a wide trim just above the elastic casing. Now the basket sits on a bedroom dresser willed with all those little essentials that never seem to have a home.
