What type of sewing you did/do with this machine?
I use this machine daily for quilting and piecing. It is an amazing machine. I owned a Singer that I used for over 20 years. The Symphony is just amazing! So quiet and so easy to use considering all the bells and whistles that it has! I would recommend it to anyone! No regrets...now I am looking for a little Babylock to take to classes and also considering purchashing the longarm for my big projects.
If you are planning to do embroidery -- you may want to consider the embroidery machines they have. I don't have a need for it, so the stitches on the Symphony are adequate. It does have a few fonts in limited sizes.
What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
Not satisfied with the place I bought it (Sewing Machine World in south Calgary). The lady that I bought it from seemed like we were a big inconvenience when we asked questions. Considering it was $2500.00, you would have thought she would have put a little more effort into helping us. I had to wait two months before I could get in on a "free" class that came with the machine. When I got there, she was not prepared and kept running for parts (i.e. thread, the different feet). Was a waste of my time.
Advice
- If you are purchasing a Babylock in Calgary -- take the time and go to the North Calgary store -- much much better service.
