What type of sewing you did/do with this machine?
Make my own square dance outfits, household items, gifts, and some sewing for myself. Classic style clothing; mending and repairs for myself and sometimes for others. About half of what I sew besides square dance is fleece items.
For about 20 years in the mid 60s and 70s, and early 80s I made my own clothes, everything my daughter wore until age 12, many of my son's clothes, and some things for my husband.
What is your satisfaction level with this machine?
I am perfectly satisfied with this sewing machine. It has met every sewing need, including fancy decorative stitching. I bought all the attachments; greatly increasing items that many do by hand.
It is portable so it does not always stay in the sewing room.
Lessons Learned
- It is beyond basic and perfect for advanced sewing with many extra features the Singer I grew up with never had.
